PEACE DAY

Every year, on the 30th of January, schools celebrate Peace Day. But what is peace? Peace is kissing, hugging, sharing, giving, helping, comforting, ... But peace is also a relaxing moment at our homes, isn´t it? At least, this is what daddy bear thinks. Listen to this story and you will understand what I´m saying: "Peace at last" by Jill Murphy. And remember that we all have peace in our fingers...

Today is Peace Day and we discovered that we have got peace in our bodies: we´ve got peace in our fingers when we do the peace symbol; we´ve got peace in our lips when we kiss; and we´ve got peace in our arms when we hug. Amazing!!!

Tomorrow, at school, we are going to celebrate it all together as one: old and young, boys and girls, pupils and students, Infants and Primary kids, ...
