LEVEL 2: TASK 5 - BUTTERFLIES

Hoy empezamos el nivel 2 de nuestro Homeschooling challenge y realizaremos la tarea 5. Ready?
At spring we can see lots of butterflies. Their lifecycle is amazing: they come from an egg and go through different stages: egg - caterpillar - cocoon - butterfly. What do they eat in every stage? How long does it take to become a butterfly? The answers to all these questions... on the next video.
TASK 5:
- Ve este vídeo para aprender cómo es el ciclo vital de una mariposa: huevo - oruga - capullo - mariposa.
- Después, canta esta canción: "The butterfly colours song".
- Finalmente, vamos a ver la historia de una oruga muy glotona: "The very hungry caterpillar" by Eric Carle.´

TASK 4: BUGS

Los bichos o bugs también vuelven con la primavera. Algunos son muy bonitos, como las mariposas o butterflies y las mariquitas o ladybirds; otros, sin embargo, son verdaderamente molestos porque nos pueden picar, como las abejas o bees, o los mosquitos (mosquitoes). ¿Te gustan los bichos? ¿Cuántos conoces?
- Ve el primer vídeo para aprender los nombres de los insectos en inglés. 
- Después juega a este juego del segundo vídeo y trata de adivinar los nombres de los insectos: What is it?
- Luego canta la canción del tercer vídeo: What do you see?
- Por último, ve este capítulo de Steve and Maggie que aparece en el cuarto vídeo.

TASK 3: SPRING IS HERE

Y sin darnos cuenta, SPRING IS HERE, la primavera está aquí. Los días son más largos, no hace tanto frío, aparecen las flores y los insectos, ... ¡Lo malo son las alergias!
Vamos a aprender las palabras de la primavera viendo este vídeo que aparece debajo. Después canta la canción.
Luego puedes hacer una ficha haciendo click AQUÍ (imprímela y guárdala para cuando volvamos al cole). Finalmente, de premio juega a este juego AQUÍ.

TASK 2: ST. PATRICK´S DAY

¿Preparados para la tarea 2 del Homeschooling challenge?

 TASK 2 

 El martes pasado, 17 de marzo, fue St. Patrick´s Day. Es un día especial, lleno de verde, que es el color de Irlanda, país de donde procede esta tradición. Allí es donde viven los leprechauns o duendes, pequeños  hombrecitos vestidos de verde, con el pelo y barba rojos, y con un gran sombrero. Ellos guardan un pote lleno de monedas de oro al final del arco iris. También es tradición llevar un trébol o shamrock ese día y si además encuentras uno de 4 hojas (clover), ¡menuda suerte!

La tarea de hoy tiene que ver con esta celebración:

- VOCABULARIO: 

             - Aprende el vocabulario de este día viendo el vídeo que aparece en primer lugar.

             - Practica lo que has aprendido, adivinando las imágenes del segundo vídeo.

- FICHA: Puedes repasar y colorear un trébol o shamrock haciendo click AQUÍ. Haz click en "download worksheet", imprímela y hazla. Guárdala y me la traes al cole cuando volvamos a vernos.

- JUEGOS ONLINE: Como premio, puedes hacer estos juegos online:

             - Memory game AQUÍ.

             - Leprechaun hunt: encuentra al leprechaun AQUÍ.

             - Lucky clover: encuentra 10 tréboles de 4 hojas (clover) AQUÍ.

- CANCIONES: 

             - Ayuda al leprechaun a contar sus monedas de oro AQUÍ.

             - Y finalmente, vamos a movernos un poco: imita los movimientos, clicando AQUÍ.

 

HOMESCHOOLING CHALLENGE: TASK 1 : MY CLOTHES

Durante 14 días, este blog será la forma de comunicarnos para mantener nuestro inglés. Así que os propongo un reto o "challenge". Los días que deberíamos tener clase de inglés, es decir, los martes y jueves, publicaré una entrada en este blog con una tarea o "task" que tendréis que resolver. MR. WOLF´S PANCAKES

Carnival is over, but we can still eat delicious pancakes. There is a wonderful story about them: "Mr. Wolf´s pancakes". Do you want to watch it? Take a look at this video. Then you can try to make them. Follow the instructions in the second video. Enjoy!!!

PANCAKES

One of my favourite things about Carnival is pancakes. I love pancakes!!! Next Tuesday it will be Pancake Day in England and people ate lots of them. Do you remember how to make them? It´s easy-peasy. You need flour, milk and eggs. You mix all these ingredients together and then you fry a pancake and... flip it in the air! This is the most difficult part, so I think it will be better if you watch it... You can also learn the steps to make them by singing the song.

CARNIVAL

Carnival is round the corner. It is time for costumes, masks, parties and fun. At school we are all going to be fruits, but I am sure that you will dress up as many other things out of school. Who will you be? There are hundreds of costumes to choose. You only need your imagination to be whoever you want. Take a look...

That´s why it is extremely important to take care of ouir body by eating healthily, doing exercise, sleeping enough time and following hygiene habits.
